Zou Zou Boutique

About

Zou Zou was born out of Wendyʼs love for fashion and her dream to house a collection of styles from both hard to find labels and up & coming designers. Combining her vision and creativity, she created what would go on to become a nationally recognized favorite fashion destination for both clients and fashion editors alike.

Opening her first location in 2001 in the heart of Thornton Park downtown Orlando, Zou Zou quickly became the fashion staple for locals, travelers and celebrity starlets. Zou Zou was quickly recognized and often featured in national fashion magazines such as Lucky, In-Style, & Harpers Bazaar. Shoppers loved the heart in the customer service as well as the diverse & amazing selection of smart, sexy and feminine styles. Wendy always stayed a step ahead of her competition finding many of the hottest lines today well before they were known.

“I was my own client. Recognizing a void in the market, at a time when boutiques were almost non-existent in central FL, I wanted to create a shopping experience that was unique, an atmosphere that was fun and offer a selection that was irresistable. Iʼve always had a CA like boho chic style, sometimes switching it up and not afraid to dress according to my mood at the moment. My personal shopping motto was, “have less in your closet but LOVE what you have”. I loved fashion and appreciated quality, fit & details.

After spending several summers traveling the beautiful countries of Europe I recognized the abundance of small specialty stores and my love for shopping them. I had a very small budget and a very big vision. I thought, “I would rather give it all I have and fail than wonder what if”.

As the business grew so did her vision. Excited to expand, she opened her 2nd location in 2009 at the Dellagio in the prestigious area of Dr. Phillips and Bay Hill in Orlando. With a clean canvas and another opportunity to design her own space, she spent the two years the center was under construction, space planning and custom designing every inch and detail herself.

“Space planning, sketching out custom fixtures, resourcing people to implement my ideas, salvaging old pieces of remarkable furniture, finding and mixing stunning fabrics, wallpapers, mirrors and chandeliers & hunting for unusual architectural pieces to incorporate into my space became more than a hobby for me. I love designing, planning, and watching something created come together!

Her vision, hard work and decision to take a risk paid off. The new location is beautiful. Abundantly stocked with the most fashionable finds, Zou Zou has a growing clientele that adores the selection, amazing staff and customer service. Today, Zou Zou is a haven for women of all ages looking for stylish, practical and flattering pieces and continues to evolve to meet the needs of a fabulous and fashion loving clientele.
